Default The local IP Address is the one...

you are referenced by on your local network. Almost always 192.168.1.x. That is the address your router uses to talk to your machine and is not externally accessible.

The other is your external address.

Try whatsmyipaddress.com and Check IP address. IP check. Find IP address. IP finder. Java IP Test. Static IP address. Hide ip address. Change IP address. Changing IP address. Anonymous IP address. to check what you actually do expose. The latter is via Java, which I now uninstall when doing business with EBAY or Paypal because I cannot get a definitive answer if they can see that data.

Since eBay could be lurking, I hope you plan to change your IP again since it was posted here.

Don't beat yourself up over it. Everyone here has made one mistake or another. After all, isn't that why we are all here.

oscar_98 is right. When you start for the first time to work out how to use ebay, it is really overwhelming. Just take a deep breath, get a plan together and be organized.

I recommend that you buy eBay Stealth - Suspended eBay and Paypal Account Guide This has been created by aspkin & another member. The information is ALL there. Do that, work out a plan, do not rush. Before you make an account, give the forum an outline. Then we can help you tweak it to work. Good Luck & welcome.
