New Here just suspended
 

Hi everyone!!

AS you all have guess my eBay account has been suspended indefinatly. I received that dreaded message in my eBay messages a couple of weeks ago.

I have had my account since 2002, and recently started selling in June of 2011. I am a stay at home mom, trying to make some extra money so I wouldn't have to go back to work.

I had all good feed back except 1 from last year, my DSR ratings were great. I almost made power seller status in less then 3 months..

Then I started dabbling in the "drop shipping" I had 3 drop ship items listed and they suspended my account.. I sent them the info they had requested and they still wouldn't unsuspend it... because according to them it was not a certified company by them.. eBay policy is a JOKE they make it up as they go along.

If i would have known this would have happened, I never would have done it to begin with.. So frustrated.. So now i am losing 2000.00 a month and i am going to have to find a job out side the home.. SIGH! But to suspend my account for life is a little bit extreme.

eBay doesn't like drop shippers using certain companies bc most of the stuff on those certain companies provide crap products.

Just tell them you are using another widely known legit source, and they will be happy.

I tried that on Monday. They will not unlock my account =( I was told the decision has been made and their final decision stands..

Oh well. I am just going to make another account. I just need to get a few things in order before it do it..

and an IP mask program, so they won't know it is me =)

I think i have pretty much figured out how to get around the suspension.:clap:

Paypal detests such programs in the bold print.

That method will fail :rip:

They won't care who's behind the IP mask and ban your account anyway :doh:

The source of your drop shipping isn't going to get you unbanned, but will help your future accounts from getting banned again.

Dropshipping on fairly new account is a no no.

And what was it that you were dropshipping?

Nothing specific but what category?

It wasn't a new account, I had that account since 2002.

It was DVD's.

Yeah i am not ever going to do drop shipping again. and i don't care if it is on their list of approved drop shippers, which is no where to be found! That is if i can ever get back on.

Firstly, sorry to hear about your story, sadly, this sort of thing happened to everyone thats here.

Your methods will lead to an easy catch, IP mask being the bait.

Theres more to just name,address,ip,bank account - theres also the fact you have cookies on your system left from previous log ins.

Save yourself the hassle of being banned again and get the stealth guide - do right the first time.

Extreme banning the account for life? "Extreme" does not exist in eBay's volcabary unfortunately.

Never too late to make a come back though, stay positive!

Welcome to the forum, yes that account can not be restored so thats good you realized already to just start over with a new account. I highly suggest buying the stealth guide as it clearly walks you through it. All the info is in this forum but you will be wasting valuable time and spend countless hrs searching when you can read a quick book a couple times and then you know for sure what to do and how.
Drop Shipping is for sure a account killer and DvD's can be a very high risk as well

I've been noticing a trend on dvds lately. I'm not sure what it is but it seems that dvd selling is not the right place to be for new accounts.

Also drop-shipping + dvds = dead account.

On my first stealth account I was selling "Used" Disney Movies at cost really, just breaking even but never got hit with a limitation, perhaps the word "Used", "Slightly Used", "Like New" helped. Not sure but that's my theory.
