existing paypal account link to new ebay account
 

hello, my ebay account is restricted indefinitely. After read ebay stealth, i want to know If i can use exist paypal account to receive payment. In that way, I just need to change paypal email and link to ebay. Other step will just follow that book told. In this way, i can keep exist paypal biz account history. thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

It's not advised you keep your old paypal, as this will link your new future ebay accounts.

It's best to just go with a fresh paypal account, eBay does own paypal so keep that in mind!

The aim is to avoid linking your banned details to new accounts.

You need NEW ebay to start again.

What about the other way around. Paypal limited, but eBay untouched... if we never activated the link to eBay section in the Paypal options, will plugging a new (or rather, backup) Paypal account into the same eBay account, will that get the new Paypal account limited as well?

Will likely play on the safe side and go with a backup eBay account, but kind of tempted since that particular eBay account is a 10k feedback account. Hate to lose it. I wonder why they don't just NARU that account as well in the first place?

same issue. if one goes down, you may as well assume the other will too. you may be able to "band-aid" it for awhile with another paypal to ebay, or ebay to paypal (depending on which was nuked) but it more then likely will die
