i just got this same message 2 days ago. came out of nowhere! but i WAS selling coach stuff, then i stopped when they warned me. I had 2 warnings one from november, one from last month. None of my listed stuff were name brands, not even close.

Since I have my powerseller review coming up on the 20th, will it change anything I'm wondering? All my Ratings are 4.9 and one 5. No disputes, complaints what so ever. Stellar feedbacks too!

anyone know if indefinite is permanent? I was thinking maybe something might change during my next power seller review?

Nope it's indefinite. May take up to a year. At the very least there is a chance of another month's restriction.

What if anything, have you done to think there might be a change for your review?

Is this a new(ish) power seller account?

i became a power seller this january. i just got my 20% discount last month, hasn't even been a month actually! i got 2 mc999 trademark violations, but it says "avoid violating this policy again and your account will be clear of this violation after august" that part makes me think mayyyyybe my account might change? Also, i hve NEVER received any complaints/emails/bad feedbacks regarding the items like the rep claimed on the phone.

since it's indefinite do i just keep checking back to see if i can list? but everytime i try does that push back my expiration date even more? I have called trust & safety the guy said they were questioning some bags i sold even though the bags were real and were not the ones pulled. i said how can they just pull the items and not ask for proof!!!

That comment from T&S is far from positive.

ebay behaves in ways that sellers find to understand. They do not want proof for their decisions. They decide & act. You got caught in their decision making.

Bear in mind this is my advice only. Leave the account alone. Look at making new stealth accounts. It's a waiting game:redface:

In my experience indefinite means permanent. Did your email say you're never allowed to use eBay ever again?

@toxxic, GB has given you the chances with eb. Sucks but yeah, lot of us have dealt with that. What else do you want to do? Have you called/chatted with eb and pushed?

My USA's ebay account is restricted indefinitely, now I am in Canada, wondering if I open a Canadian Ebay and Paypal account, will Ebay find out?

I have only called once on the day I found out the account became restricted. There's no point of calling. Won't get anywhere. They just make stuff up on the fly. We'll never figure out what they're saying is true regarding our restrictions. Just gona leave ebay alone. Good thing I have a real job besides ebay, it'll drive me nuts trying to find ways to get back in.

hi everyone. i'm a newbie here. i now have joined the club of new sellers with indefinite selling restriction. i have been a member of eBay for some years, but began selling few months ago. it's no fun when competitors, non-paying members, and eBay prevent you from selling. when eBay said "indefinite" what they really mean is "forever". that is what an eBay representative said, but they should not use the word indefinite when they write down you cannot sell and that you cannot appeal. when asked what the reason for MC008 eBay Indefinite Selling Restriction eBay said they are not allowed to say.
