Creating a New ebay account using the same paypal account
 

I have been able to create a new ebay account, not sellers account yet. My last account was suspended. Im wondering though if ebay will link my new ebay sellers account to my paypal account that I had with my old suspended account, anyway around this, can I just change the email address registered with paypal?

From my knowledge there is a merchant type number coded in the paypal account that you really dont see that is linked with that suspended ebay account , so if you try to alter the basic info they still have that merchant account number that will link you to old account. This is just my understanding so wait to hear what other say. I personally think its a big red flag and I wouldnt even risk or waste my time trying. But see if others have any options for you

Thats what I was thinking, seems to easy just to change your email add.

That work around ended in mid 2007.


Thinking things are 'easy' are going to cause problems long term.

This is the best way to explain to you.

That paypal account is dead for use on ebay.

You will immediately link yourself ( to that suspended account).

Correct long term procedure is new ebay account & new matching paypal account.

I can get a new Bank account and address for paypal. With the Same info that im using with my new ebay account. Of course Cookies will have to always be deleted for good measure.The only thing now is my ip address. Iv done some research on how to change it, and iv gone through the procedure. But How can I be 100% sure if its been changed, anyway, even if the ip has changes cant ebay still detect somehow its coming from the same pc as the old suspended account.

if i check out as a guest on a "buyer only" ebay account using the paypal address that was on my suspended ebay acct, will that eventually cause problems for me?
