Suspended buyer opened a case against me?

I thought that eBay takes away Buyer Protection if they get suspended (I assume for scamming).

I should be fine though because I have tracking to show it was delivered, but I'm shocked how they were even able to open a case against me in the first place? :faint:

Was the case opened as not delivered? If so, you could win it.

Ive see this happen before. Sold something, the buyer opened a case against me.
Since I was on the account, I hopped right over to their feedback and they were 'no longer registered' and in the end they won their case saying it was a SNAD, even though it was described to a T. But, they did have a history of doing this. with positive feedback saying 'Beware of this scammer. Took my item. Can't leave negative'

First error is 'assuming'. Dont assume.

Timing would be a factor.

Claim may have been made B4 account suspension.

Speak to ebay for clarification :juggle:

You sure claim was not made via PP?

They filed a INR, but I think they might still be able to change it to a SNAD afterwards. Hopefully they don't though.

I'm sure they opened the case after they were suspended.
When they sent messages to me before opening the case, it already said that they weren't registered anymore.

I think paypal doesn't let you have buyer protection if your purchase was made through ebay and that ebay account is suspended.
