acct restriction from selling
 

We were power sellers with over 4000 feedback on ebay, we tried to cover our ebay fees in our shipping and handling. We received negative feedback from buyers because of shipping and handling charges. They suspended our acct and would not let us sell, they said it was a life time ban.

I opened new accts and used them for a bit, but when we tried to open a store and increase our listing capacity ,they said call us and ask about goals and listing increases which we did.they banned us again.

Every acct opened would get the listing removed within 5 minutes even with a new bank account. We called and asked for the ban to be looked at and were told account would be reinstated ,even received emails saying reinstatment, when i tried to list they still said you can not sell.

i asked them why they told us we could sell again a day earlier and could reopen our store , some chinese guy didnt help at all.he just told us we were finished. I asked if my wife could open an accnt under a new household.,

he wouldnt answer question,

does anyone know the answer as to how we can get back selling on ebay and reopening a store.???

The good news is you can get back.

You are making too many mistakes at the moment. This needs to change.:smash:

I'd recommend getting the stealth guide & then trawling through the board to better understand this subject area before your next EB/PP A/C creation. This should be your starting point.

Welcome to the forums - first understand the methodology then apply and go at it. All the best as you read around.

first of all you need to clear any data information from your computer because it will link any of your new account to your old one. or the simple way is to get an Ebay Stealth Guide here :D

This is why the forum is alive and kicking. Read some posts, as this is the main concern of members.

Work on a new account and build it up so you can add your store.

Everything brand new, work your way to the top again.

It can be done.

Hang out on this forum and you'll know the right thing to do in this situation, it's pointless creating new accounts under your name because it's being linked to each other.

My ebay account is "limited"- can not listed anything- they said they linked an acccount to mine and once I pay the past due amount (from 2 years ago) they will go ahead and let me list again.

I find this hard to believe- I thought they shut down linked accounts. Furthermore- the only way I can pay is to log on to that old account and pay- I DON'T REMEMBER THE PASSWORD!!

They said the account was sent in for collections so I was thinking maybe I can call the collection agency and pay that way and that they would notify ebay I was paid up... so confused- what do you think?

Is this a new one or what? I can't find any info on this topic anywhere@@

Even once you have paid them you can bet your bottom dollar they will not let you list on any existing or previous account, EVER.

Well I made the payment through the collection's agency on Friday- my account is still not reinstated.

I called ebay back and they say they have not been notified of the payment yet from collections but insist once they get it, my account will be reinstated and the 2 accounts will be unlinked FOREVER!!

They suggested I call the agency to find out why they haven't posted my payment yet and lo and behold they are closed!!

I guess I will have to wait until Monday- which is a holiday- HOPE THEY ARE OPEN!!

I hate to say this... But that is just a ploy to get you to pay the fees. Its been posted before. I doubt they will reinstate the account. The others you spoke to are just passing the buck...

I know you are right, but I'm in denial- LOL! I have over 700 pairs of jeans in my spare room I DREAD taking pictures of to re-list on a new account...

lol wow same thing happened to me just today. soon as i get my paypal unlimited. ebay hits me with this.

Why do you have to retake the pics? Just resize and rename automatically using Batch Image Resizer or Photoshop. Of course you also have to change your item description and title. Best to copy a powerseller and change it around a little.

I have to retake the pictures because I never saved them!I don't know how to to do that....

I would use multiple IP's for each account.

I had an account go into collections for non payment of fees for over a year. I eventually payed the fees and the account was automatically reinstated without a call. However, this was 3 years ago and the attached Paypal was never limited.

THEY REINSTATED ME!! Been over 24 hours- I'll keep you posted!

Same thing happened to me, I was reinstated, although the collection agency takes around 5 days to notify ebay that you paid them :shhh:

I was pointing out that it is is not true that the two accounts would become unlinked.

Wow, you are overreacting, as if you read more into my post than there really was, like I was trying to "get one" over you. That is not the case at all. It just looked to me as if you did not see/missed his post, since you did not appear to acknowledge it in your reply. You just said "big fat eBay lie", and I thought that you were referring only to the account reinstation.

Most pertinent part of the message for debmalta is to NOT believe the two accounts are unlinked.

Hopefully she will understand that and not have a false sense of security after being fiddled about by a collection agency & ebay.

Agreed but as of today I am still selling stronger than ever. I am however getting all my ducks in a row and ready to open a new account when/if this one gets shut down.
