| scammed | 05-09-2012 08:00 PM | So I got scammed last summer, trying to get back on now.. I sold my old iphone and without really looking into it I listed it world wide shipping. The buyer that bought it messaged me and I told him the two shipping quotes I received. One was normal priced (like $15) and would track out of US only, the other was MUCH more (like $85 or something crazy) and would track to his door. He said he wanted the cheaper, looking back I'm an idiot but this was my first international auction.
So two months later he makes a claim, I scan the receipt and using the tracking number you can see it leaves my state heads to NY then departs over seas. Ebay says they are taking the buyers side, so I'm screwed out of $365.
I have a bad laptop, a bike groupset, and an xbox to sell (roughly $600 worth of stuff) that I really need this month. My sister said I could use her account, who lives about 700 miles away.
I have never logged into my suspended account on this laptop, but I did make a new account using my second last name (which has never been used on EB or PP) and my first name on this laptop. I havent linked it to PP or done anything besides make it.
Will I be ok using her account? |
