| | | imecho0628 | 05-30-2012 01:25 AM | Additional Verification Step Request from Ebay I got below information when I tried to relist my items on ebay yesterday. I had written an email to their customer service but got no response yet. Can anyone tell me how to solve this and reinstate my account????
Attention!

You will need to provide eBay with further information to verify your registration information. Please contact Customer Service for detailed information.

| I think you are missing 50% of that message...:mod:
Right?
Ok, my guess about you, I am going to look into my crystal ball...
You are in China.
You have an account registered overseas.
You have sold a few things with no problem.
You have tried to list a higher quantity of items...
Now you get that message...(and some more that you have omitted) |

2 Hail Marys and an Our Father ought to do it,,,,,,, |
| imjustme | 05-31-2012 01:19 PM | You get that message because either in the past or now, your registration country has changed. Say you registered in China, but changed the account to a US address, or registered a US address and now changed it to a China address.
Nothing we can help you with. The account is toast until you do what eBay says. |

| FizzyFish | 05-31-2012 11:24 PM | There is stuff that can be done...stuff that has to be done to rescue this.
Let's see if the OP comes back after his warm welcome :> |

Hi Fortune Teller, I would say that you are right on 1 & 2 & 3. I am indeed a Chinese girl who just moved to California last year and that's when I opened my US account. And I am just back to China to visit my family and have vocation around South-east Asia these two months. So I really do not understand why most people here are so sensitive to link such a problem with meanful guessing on my identity or nationality. I did not sell anything like you guys thought and it's not necessary for me to hide anything.
I just want to know how to deal with this problem. That's it. |

So I think it should be ip problem. I submitted the copy of my ID card and credit card bill yesterday but not sure what the outcome will be. |
| Sandy D | 06-03-2012 11:53 PM | You need an account in both places if you are going back and forth. |
Need to call them up then for the full outcome. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:53 AM. | |
