2 Ebay Account suspended based on same phone number?
 

hi:
i created a new ebay acct this morning to test something i read it in the forum.
i passed the Verification phone using AIM phone line related with another Ebay pre 11/07 account . the item showed immediately. after 1 hour , i checked my email and pom pom email from Ebay regarding the suspension after i missed a call from them. the other ebay account also got suspended.
i think the best way is to link the Paypal account verified with the Ebay account first.
i tested like 2 Ebay accounts last week using some Aim phone associated with old ebay accounts and they are still running good .
any ideas.

Using the same phone number for multiple eBay accounts will link those accounts.

And yes, it's always best to link your verified / confirmed Paypal account to eBay before doing anything.

When you guys talk about linking your ebay and paypal accounts together (to pre-empt Phone Verification calls), you mean going to "My Profile" in Paypal and then "Auctions" and adding the ebay ID there, right?

Or is there something else?

Yep, that sounds right, got this off google:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Once you are logged in, on the main 'My Account' page, click the 'Profile' tab.
3. Then, under 'Selling Preferences', click on the 'Auctions' link. This page will show you any eBay accounts you currently have linked to this PayPal account. If there are no User IDs on this page, you will need to click the 'Add' button.
4. In the provided fields, enter your eBay ID and your eBay password, then click the 'Add' button.
5. Now in your 'Profile' page you will see your eBay ID added in and linked to your PayPal account.

how is the best way to call in to ebay without linking phone number used on a differnt account using to call them to a stealth account you are calling about?

Two suggestions:

1. Not bumping a 5 year old thread
2. Use a new phone number

Well, I suppose I could walk you down to the CVS and show you where the $19.95 Tracfones are but I thought that would be a little over the top.

buy a 19 dollar phone just to make a single call about a 2 year old account thats the dumbest thing i have heard I was just asking if there was any options to hunting down a payphone i see many peopl e saying they call ppp/eb just wondering if there is a way to do it safely from home

As far as I have ever tried, the *67 block trick only works on the 'land line' numbers, not the toll-free ones.

:humble: yea they saw right through that told me i see you are calling from if thats your number press one to look up your account another way press 2 so i hung up I just wondered i see everyone that says they call eb just wondering if they pay any intention to this or just call put in the code they give you and proceed blindly
