Another account bites the dust
 

Well I had an eb account going strong for 3+ months - no cases, no complaints, no returns, no warnings, nothing.

Then, I listed 2 Tim Tebow New York Jets Nike Jerseys (one home one away) - BOOM no later than 15 minutes later they take down all of my other auctions and these and restrict me from selling indefinitely. Good thing I still have 4 other active eb accounts, but I was looking forward to having my limits increase next month.

I would say 99.9% of all the jerseys are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ on eb, no question. I have listed Aaron Rodger's Nike Jerseys on there a couple times and haven't had a problem. I'm thinking because EVERYWHERE you go Tim Tebow's jerseys are sold out. I bet the NFL is all over that bizz.

I guess that's what I get for selling risky items - but the return is just so darn good not to risk it.

I saw on here too that eb has been laying the hammer down on a lot of people this month. So, no more jerseys for me for awhile. What to sell next....

This has been discussed before. Jerseys are extremely Vero'ed and not recommended. At this point you should have backup accounts, if not then you should create a few. Don't sell any more Tim Tebow Jersey's.

Did you read anything more than the first paragraph. I do have backup accounts and am not selling anymore jerseys.

Because he is a hot selling item competitors will be watching you and reporting you every time.

Aaron Roger is not as hot as Tim Tebow therefore the sellers are not looking for those listings.

They see someone taking money out of there hands with a hot product and down you go.

I would rather sell many not so hot jerseys then lose an account over selling one Tebow.

God people are dumb, and not only because it is vero..... The market is flooded with these items, which means the profit is minimal, especially after taxes. So your telling me the profit off of a high guarded brand (NIKEY) is worth the risk of losing an account or legal trouble. Do you research. You could have gotten away with it with reeeebok, but not now.

Tim Tebow did not get injured, did he?
