MC999 - Unpaid seller fees
 

So I owe Ebay roughly $40 in seller fees for something I sold a year ago...which I genuinely forgot about (Not like that matters). I created a new account today and I got the MC999.

The question is, if I pay the $40 overdue seller fees will I get my account reinstated and I get to sell on Ebay without any restrictions what so ever?

I guess $40 is not a big deal and i am rather to pay them first and see what happen then if this account is legit and not a stealth account. If you got account that registered last year just keep it nicely and don't make trouble with them:)

The best answer is MAYBE...eb has nasty habit of getting fees and keeping account blocked.

I would say most likely yes, only if you have had no other issues with them.
