Need more information, did ebay take your listing down or VERO?

BigCJ 07-16-2012 12:35 AM

probably entropay... not good for us accounts. read around about it.

More info as the poster above stated as well, please

slapped 07-16-2012 12:41 AM

Is this the first thing you listed? Did they ask you to call them?

LAMBOMECER 07-16-2012 03:50 PM

i listed a old key chain,
it was not taken down by vero
it said to call them, and that my listing was taken down

Hmmm,,,I see,,,Not just any Key chain now was it,,,

the VERO will most likely want to know where you got it with proof like a Bill of sale,,,now if you only had 1 listed, and never sold one on the account before a reasonable VERO will ask Ebay to reinstate the account,,,now on the other hand if you sold or listed a Bunch and you got them in China,,well,,,make another account,,

ass11078 07-17-2012 01:25 AM

Ebay as of late has been taking down item on new accounts. so you have to call them to verify that your real in order for them to reinstate the seller account. tell you what an ebay Representative told me two months ago.

rsot 07-17-2012 09:44 AM

How many days from creation did you start selling? Yes Entro pay VCC seems to cause problems too.

LAMBOMECER 07-17-2012 10:48 PM

yeah i just listed on the account,
i mean its an old key chain
vero has nothing to do with it
its a non branded key chain
yeah most likey entro p a y

Yeah but WHOSE stealth guide If it's not ours, dont quote it. ;)

You are confusing your issue.

Remote chance of the key chain being the issue. More than likely entropay was the cause.
Like mentioned in another thread entropay & USA IPs are trouble. Since you have not given details of this being another country's account, sadly entropay bought you problems :pout:

Have had similar issues with citi card created virtual CC's. But recently immediate non vero listings have gone through, i have no idea what the reasoning on this is. These are brand new accounts, with no bank and just a VCC from citi created and put on them. Of course when an actual vero item is listed who knows/

When you say 3 months, does that mean 3 months ago it was turned into a seller account but no listing made? or just now and listed? Usually it doesn't matter how old it is, all that matters is when it was turned into a seller account, and even then i think it's random :/

All my recent accounts that actually haven't been mc999'd "yet" were because i used their new site listing method etc..

I'm not listing anything vero until i have at least 10+ buying feedback and 1 seller positive feedback. This is my new strat

Listen, This Kind of Stuff Happens ALL the Time,,,Where the First item listed gets Taken Down, All Ebay wants is to talk to you, ask you some Simple Questions to further Verify your account information,,Thats All,,it is COMPLETELY RANDOM<<<<

You are here looking for some Kind of Way to create accounts so you can Avoid this Process,,,You are Looking for something that does NOT Exist,,,If Ebay could afford the Manpower, EVERY single new account would go through this process,,,But they would have to hire way more People than they can afford to pay,,,,So, they do the Next Best thing,,they do as many as they can RANDOMLY,,,This is the way it is, you are going to have to learn to Deal with this issue, which, if you create your account STRICTLY by ASPKINS Guide, you will be OK,,

Simple questions to answer if it is a "real" account but not so much with a stealth account.

I had two accounts go down when I listed clothing items via Auctiva. I called and was not able to answer the questions and was then asked to submit documents (driver's license, utility bill, etc.) via fax. The questions were impossible to answer (name of relative, what street did you previously live on, etc.). I failed the telephone question portion even with answering "none of the above." Very frustrating process.

If you do the Proper research and Preparation BEFORE you create your accounts you CAN put yourself in a Position to deal with these Questions, I have done it MANY Times, also with the proper PLANNING you can also deal with Drivers Licences, Utilitiy, bills, ect, ect,,,

The problem Most users have is the SAME Problem a Volkswagon has when it wants to be a Porsche by going from 0-60 in 4.3 sec,,,

SLOW DOWN and THINK FIRST, then ACT

Shadowmoe7 07-18-2012 06:39 PM

yeah IT ALL DEPENDS.

newjerseymax 07-19-2012 03:20 AM

I had my first account in a year get MC999 this week. It had 15 feedback and already sold 3 items. Account is 4 months old... Funny thing is that its one of the few that I started with legit address... Got too confident I guess...

Maybe they are starting to ramp it up a bit before holidays?
