Issues Starting items at a penny?

I have been reading through the forums, and came accross some info on penny items.

My items are legit sent items, I seem to do much better when I start items at a penny.

Is there any issue starting items so low?

This is my first stealth acct and dont want to screw it up over something stupid

I believe they may have been referring to selling items for a $0.01 (to build feedback) and not beginning an auction at $0.01. I start all of my auctions at $0.01.

No there are no issues starting at a penny, other than loosing money, I don't see an issue.

I'm not a fan of Auctions, I find it to be like a coin toss, you either win or loose and I just don't like gambling on auctions. I like the BIN and done. I do assume that those that do Auctions have a lot of experience and know what their doing but I like to play it safe and go with BIN.

Okay thanks. I have always started my auctions low and have never had one end that low. I also dont sell big dollar items, most are under $10

By legit sent I ment they are not digitally delivered or any of that stuff. They ususally start at a penny with 4.99 shipping
