Suspended 10 years ago..
 

I was suspended almost 13 years ago. Do you think they still have my record on file? If I try to open a new account using my actual name, will they find out?

Cor - you must have been one naughty boy to get suspended in the 'good old days'. What did you do?

meh. I have an '02 account that was also suspended.

is there any chance of getting these accounts back?

in fact, I logged into the other day since I haven't in years. I saw it says "you owe $103 for your ebay fees. please pay to bring your account up to date." It made me wonder if it would be reinstated if I pay...but I really dont want to blow $100 to find out.

if you can't put in $100 to get back a premium account you are in the wrong biz

Use a credit card to pay. If you dont get reinstated say it wasnt you! REFUND

I'm not sure it would actually get me back though. I really don't see why it would. Would it? I was suspended for other reasons. Would those other suspensions just ... drop off?

This makes me want to try and reinstate my first ever suspended account from when I was 16 almost 8 years ago...now that I think about it I don't even remember why it was suspended in the first place.

How sick would it be if I could reinstate an eB acc from 2005 and use my SSN...

In fact I will try and find out tomorrow. We can find out or try to find out exactly why our accs were suspended, call up eB customer support and see if we can get it reinstated!

I'm sure I thought of this before but haven't pulled the trigger, wow it would be so awesome if it gets reinstated already getting excited...will post results here if I remember too.

Of course ebay is going to say "pay us to get reinstated" then you pay and they say "oh yea, we forgot, you suck, sorry"......although I will admit....since this little MC999 thing happened I have wondered a little myself about some of the "unexplained ebay mysteries"

Same here. My oldie account was suspended in 2002. It says to pay the $103 past due amount and that it will be "reinstated." However, I logged into my old paypal, and it says that the account was locked in 2002 as well and cannot be accessed. :( I guess if i could reinstate my 2002 ebay account, I could add a stealth paypal? hmmm...
