MC008 - 30 days later - how do I tell if I'm suspended?
 

Hi All,
I got the dreaded MC008 message from eBay 30 days ago. Since then I've poked around the account from time to time - and what puzzles me is no where on my account does it indicate I have been suspended from selling. I go to my seller dashboard, click on "Sell an item" - I have no issues - though I never go through with it because i don't want to compromise this account any further.
What I find really odd is that I recently received a Power Seller and Top Rated seller badge - while I was supposed to be suspended from selling?
As much as I am tempted to list something - i'm more concerned about being impatient and messing this account up even more.

When you got the MC008 email - was there anything on your eBay profile that prevented you from selling, or account status changed to suspended?

You are probably selling VERO item(s) or an item that eBay themselves potentially consider High Risk and or VERo. Please don't forget that not all listings on eBay go down because they were VEROed. There is also Trust and Safety which is overlooking for any counterfeit products which are being sold. Well mostly it's all automated. It's all about eBay bots VS keywords. If you know what you are doing you can avoid some of eBay bots ;)>

Go light on the account - avoid selling same items that gave you problems.

You are correct - I have one trade mark violation a few weeks prior to the MC008, based on my selling dashboard that should be removed from my file on January 2013.

What i believe caused this issue was one neutral feedback, a few hours after I got that neutral I got the MC008. I got the neutral because of shipping time, its not my fault the item was held at customs.

I am not planning on selling the Vero item I got the trademark violation - I have a few items that are all non-vero, non-branded items.

Will I be risking my account if I post an item for sale as buy it now (less then $20 per item)???

Based on forums I've read about this topic - others have said they received the reinstatement email 30 days after, others never, but I cannot confirm if they too had no indication of suspension on their seller dashboard.

Unfortunately there's not any way to tell the amount of time you have been suspended for. Even calling customer support does not help because they have no way of telling either.

Did you get this message in ebay originally also? There has been a lot of spoof suspended emails floating around. I have seen a couple in my email box recently.
