Ebay Customer Rep may have linked old and new accounts

Ebay + paypal account is under my sisters name. We call ebay every month on the 6th (just like we've been doing for the past 5 months) to increase our selling limits. Customer rep asks us the routine questions of verifying address, phone number etc, nd then throws a curveball at us! He asks us if we are related to (suspended paypal user = me) and we just stay quiet and ask him to repeat the question. As he is about to ask, the phone line cuts off. We call back and we get the eBay office is closed message and to try again tomorrow.

Where does my current ebay + paypal account stand now?.. I am scared. Someone please advise..:doh:

I think you should stop calling and hope for the best.

I personally avoid any phone calls with them period.
As long as I a good ebayer, they are happy and do am I.

I completely Agree with Saijin, You really should let the account grow naturally instead of calling to have the limits raised every month. What are your current limits at the time of calling?

They went from 10 - 100 - 350 - 600 - present. So what should I do now? Get ready with my backup account?

What you do depends on if you like opening cans of worms or not.

Quite obviously to me why on earth would you have any relationship to a suspended account? Why on earth would ebay be so silly to think that :doh:

Go on ebaying. You tempted fate by making those phone calls. Dont push your luck further.

Thats WAY too much of a push - time to rinse and start over. You could call to push but...you might have had a smart agent - YES THEY DO EXIST.

My ebay seller account had limits increased twice last month, without calling.

If you list your item by auctioning and they sell almost or over the limit (allowed), you will be increased at next evaluation.
My account was lifted to $13K/100 but got suspended because they found it linked.
