eBay stealth need identification

Okay let me explain my problem. Today just happened in the morning. One when I try to list some item on eBay. It really wonder eBay system didn't allow me finish since I still have available selling limit. The system asks me for identify information of phone and address.

I use the account 4 months and nothing change. Sell small amount until I get more items on selling limited. And I already passed the 90 days risking.

eBay system give me 4 questions and have 4 choice on each question when they ask about address. On each question they will provide 4 different address for me correct it. But what the ****. There is no question matching with my original eBay Stealth that I gave them. So I every question mark on
1. I never had these address.
2. I never had these address.
3. I never had these address.
4. I never had these address.

Finally eBay system say eBay cannot identify me. I need contact them only one way. I think it is going get stuck.

I just would like to ask you if you have same problem as me. It is a new thing that I had never seen before. Since I use eBay Stealth for a year. I had never seen this eBay process. I think that account going get limited until I call them.

So ****. I don't leave in USA and if I call them they will know where I come from by phone track.

Any idea? Again this account had been sell longer than 4 month I get 2000 USD limit. I think I going smooth but of course not.

What type of answer do you want? Many new accounts on ebay.com have got the MC999 notice or other notices to supply ID
This has been going on for many months. Older accounts can get the notice as well.

ebay wants sellers to supply ID.

Always been the case.

Always will be the case.

I think you fooled yourself this would not happen.

Let me guess, you're in Thailand but the account has a US address, am I correct?

yes I am in Thailand, but I use USA VPN. That 's no problem so far. I use this account around 4 month and sell items until I get around 1800 USD selling limited. On one day eBay want verify me. It really surprise me.

Stop missing the facts.

accounts that use ebay.com get asked about ID.

It no longer always works to give the replies you gave.

Your VPN may now be blacklisted.

You did OK to get the months of use of ebay that you did. There was never a guarantee the account would last forever.

If you live in ASIA and want to pretend to be in the USA, you need to have fully & correctly prepared account. You must start thinking of that for your future.

This has happened to me on two new accounts I started last month. One I have been selling on and the other I just started selling on.

Fortunately, the latter was a variation of my name and the questions were actually relevant so I knew the answers and got a reply from eBay saying thank you for verifying your information.

So, I don't think I can answer your question, just trying to tell you what I did and what happened hope it helps.

Maybe from now on just use variations of your name and addresses around yours.

yes your are correct Babyboy. But I wonder if eBay wants identify me. Why does eBay give a correct choice address that I have. Also some question is ask about my DOB but I think it isn't. Any how right now that 's account get stuck on identification process. When I log in. It just say contact customer support. I can do nothing. Just leave it away.

Maybe it is a new experience of eBay. Hopeful eBay use random check for this process.

I know why did my account get this problem. It's because I use some software clean my computer. Then my 2 eBay Stealth accounts get this warning. Really stupid thing as I did..

You can have problems if you clear cookies. ebay 'sees' them as a way of identifying the account.

Have you been able to save this account yet?

The account didn't get suspension or any MC, It alive, but I just can't list item until I call them. "The account still active but only can't list item". I try to avoid this problem happen again with another account by list item from Auctiva.com on another account. I can list one or two. It's works and I hope it going well.

Nothing new but I forget some thing when I use software clean my computer. Really stupid me.

That's the equivalent of a dead account.

There is a 50/50 chance that you will get the account to sell again if you do call. But, its most likely that the account is perma flagged at this point

if you call you could also be hit with ID verification - could attempt if you have the docs

Why don't you open a Thai account? You will end up being flagged again.

I will not call them because I have money pending on each one around 1100 USD/Account. The account still alive. I will wait until the money have been release all then find and re build new account later.

I don't use Thai account because the item can sell only US account. I use VPN for every my stealth account.

My case is a study case. DO NOT Clean all catch and cookies.
