MC999 restricted linked to another username?
 

Anybody know how to save your account if you get mc999 linked to another username? I got this and in no way im linked to that other username.

then call them and speak to them but you better have a good explanation. saying i don't know this and that in this situation will not do anything

You need to get all your info together, the lot.

Go check ( where you can) info about the other person. You need to prove to ebay you are NOT related...

Sometimes this is one of two things....

there may be a vague link or your account stinks. ebay gave you a MC999 as a type of generic go away.

Call, ask for a supervisor/manager and act like a professional. Get the name of staffer too.

Look, this is going to come down to how you made the account in the 1st place.

Something is not good enough for ebay.

Either walk away from the account or fight to disprove their claim.

Happened a month ago - called them - had to submit proof but was ok - lightly pushed back.
