If my wife has never registered on ebay..

We could sign up a "legit" ebay account using her info as long as we have a different IP address, bank card, checking account, and phone number. I have a all of that besides the IP and my service provider will be able to supply me with that new ip. I would also replace my g router with a brand new n! I also have a ebay account a friend gave me. She said she only bought one thing a few years ago and will not need it anymore. So we can update that account with my wifes info and the new po box. We could set up a paypal account with her info and our new bank account. What else should I do?

Be very careful no ties or links can be made. Go out of town and get a box or something and make sure nothing looks or matches in any way.

** I know someone who got suspended in 2002 and just opened an account with the same exact name in a different town in 2008 and it is still going strong.

He called ebay and ask about his old account and they said there is 11,000 xxxx xxxxxxx names, which one are you?? ;)

Just make sure your IP is different and you clear your cookies, including flash cookies. Use CCleaner, or even better setup a new user account for your PC and use that. If you're going to use a friends account, and she lives near you, you shouldn't change anything on the account accept maybe the phone number. If you start changing passwords, and name and address, eBay won't like that. Keep reading the forum, and good luck!

I would take my computer down and bring it back up. There would be no doubt about that. There is nothing on there I cannot back up and there is nothing on there that would be worth what I am losing on ebay.

Please tell me you don't believe that rebooting your computer will clear cookies and other eBay nasties?
