confirm identity

I recently switched to Comcast and so I got a new IP. When I go to revise a listing I get the "confirm identity" screen. The account is fully legit. I didn't answer the Pets name question correctly, and now have to get pin sent to my phone. I was using a tracfone and the sim expired, so I get a new ph. #. Will this raise a red flag if I update the account with a new Ph. # to have the ebay pin sent to? Thanks!

It could raise a flag but you don't really have a choice if you want to try and keep the account.

Well the message went away. Might come back in the future. Would it be safe if I update the phone # under personal info, or provide a new # to send PIN to?

always keep the number updated on paypal and ebay sometimes they call just to make sure the numbers valid
