Suspended for the 1st time.
 

I've been buying and selling on eBay for 10 years now without a signle problem and then wham, on the 19th I was suspended for feedback manipulation. The email I received did not provide details of this so called manipulation. It's really simple, I sell old public domain books on CD-ROM., someone buys from me I leave feedback and vice versa.

I have always followed their rules to a tee so I cannot wrap my head around this suspension at all. The more I think about it the more ticked off I get.

What really makes no sense is that my feedback dropped nearly 350 points due to this. That's a heck of alot of feedback manipulation.

I actually lost my Powerseller status a few days before suspension. Go Figure.

I'm guessing your items were going for a dollar or less? EBay has started to crack down on these items, because people buying are just doing it for the feedback part of it.

I listed several handbags on ebay under "designer inspired" after reviewing other handbags in the same category being sold. I saw one handbag that was listed with "C" pattern that violates Coach Trademark. I also watched a monogram computer handbag sell for $70.00 (had the LV-Louis Vuitton pattern on the bag and was visible in the picture. I listed my bags as monogram pattern, designer inspired handbag, and patchwork pattern. There are so many bags listed the same way and they are still selling. I faxed in my paperwork with a note pleading my case. I am still waiting to hear back from ebay. What sucks is that they gave me the boot after I listed a lot of 20 new items. They still charged me for the listing fees. How can so many bags still be selling that had the same description as mine?? Does not make sense to me. This is the first time I have been suspened.....what are my chances of being reinstated?

My prices ranged from $4.75 up to $9.99.
