My ebay account got restricted

Yesterday i received a notification of ebay

We're writing to let you know that because your seller performance is below standard under the US seller performance standards program, your selling account has been restricted. If you had any active listings prior to your restriction, they have been removed and your selling fees will be credited. If you recently sold an item they can be found in the sold section of your My eBay.

You can still get your messages in My eBay, and of course, complete any outstanding transactions with your buyers, but you won't be able to list any more items. This action doesn't affect your buying account. While this account is restricted, you're not permitted to sell on any other of your existing accounts"

I consider it unfair because i had been below standard on 16 months and even with my negative feedback, i was responsible with my costumers. I had a limit of 200 items but has been decreased to 150 limits, despite of the selling limits i continued making my great effort to provide a great quality services to my customers
A few days ago i called them to explain i want to increase my selling limit, but they told me i must be focused to sell even with the 150 limit. But yesterday my selling account has been restricted. This account has almost two years, my feedback is 1019 with just 20 negative feedbacks

You must have gotten too many sellers leaving you low DSR, item not as described and shipping time not properly followed up will leave your account below standard, too many complain from customers will also get you to this stage, So to maintain a standard or above standard rating you must ship on time and make your customers happy in any way you can, my advice will be to forget about selling with that account and switch to other accounts and then start building again.

You'll get other good advices from other members of the forum who are higher that I.

I wish you all the very best.

Not sure if the UK and US have the same guide lines when it comes to eBay
But I had the same problem to get round it. I listed at a lot of stuff with free post
posted it asap and sent a message to the buyer saying their item had been posted have a nice day blah blah blah this helped
Good luck

20 negs on 1000 feedback is quite high in the eyes of ebay .
If you were a high street retailer with these statistics you would be the holy grail but ebay ... no they see this as very poor .. go figure
