Just suspended - have some questions
 

I just got suspended on Sunday. I made an honest mistake. Before listing my items I researched others that were in the same category and they were selling. I thought I was fine with my listing but ebay suspened me for trademark violations. I don't understand how some items can remain listed while others get the boot. My listings and descriptions were very close to what the other items were. In fact, i had a different style item but the description was the same.

Anyway, I have submitted all of the required paperwork and I am waiting for an email that states I am back in. I am only a small fish in big pond and I hope they (at ebay) can realize that I made an honest mistake.

If I am reinstated and I do not make the same mistake, will I be OK? I am going to close all of my accounts and start fresh. I only sell in the spring and summer because I am a teacher and do not have the time during the school year. Does ebay look at your track record and selling profile before they make a ruling?? Thanks.

If you get reinstated, and don't go back to VeRO sure you'll be fine. And yes eBay dose look at your track record, so if you get suspended again, it'll be for good this time. :(

Hopefully they'll let you go with just a warning; it's usually a 50/50 shot at getting your account back.

aspkin pretty much hit it on the nail on the head..you can wait it out and see what ebay says about your account. However don't be discouraged if they don't give you your account back..just read the forum ask questions and get back on your feet. The first suspension is always the worst suspension because you don't know what to do. But trust its ways back to selling on eBay.
