new llc stealth hit with mc999 restricted
 

i got hit with restricted account (account is a month old) i am selling a used hdmi cable.

i need to call ebay. any tips?

You might of got linked with a banned acct

They send these messages all the time with new accounts lately. They just want to talk to you and ask you a few questions. Have all your stealth info right in front of you and be prepared to answer questions from the public database.

Definitely call within the 48 hours or it will be restricted. Every time I called when I got one of these the ban was lifted right away.

Thx. I have all the stealth info. It is a legit llc with the address in an office building/suite number. I put a variation of my name as the contact.

What are the questions from the public database? It is a business account not a real person. There should be nothing in the public database.

Every new acct has to go through this now it seems. Anybody not get this on a new acct?

I opened 3 accounts and listed in each 1 day apart. Then I got 3 mc999 messages exactly 1 day apart so it is an automatic thing. Items were low risk electronic parts.

ACCOUNT UNRESTRICTED!

I called. At first lady asked me for personal information to do public database check but i quickly reminded her it was business account. She apologized. She put me on hold twice, asked me what i wanted to sell and i was unrestricted !!
