Any account you plan on selling stuff on you should spend a month or so buying cheap crap. Iphone cords, cards etc. To get some buyer feedback. Then later on register to sell and everything else. It is just stupid things that eBay tracks and what not to give you a rating. Even if you bought 10 penny item then register to sell after a month. eBay looks at that account higher than a new account with Zero feedback or items bought and start selling. Ya'll just need to stop thinking in the short run and really start thinking what can I do to get eBay to think I am serious about selling. Especially on a new account. Buy some cheap stuff get buyer feedback then sell some household low risk items even if it is for a penny to get feedback. Then work your way up from there. That is if you are serious about over the long run.

True, but be careful of buying a lot of .01 ebooks because eb zaps those sellers a lot and looks with suspicion on their customers. There is a lot of competition in the .01 - .11 buying category due to everyone wanting to pad their feedback.

Also, mind your address used when buying cheap stuff that gets shipped. I send all that stuff to charities. There are a lot of heart shaped balloons for sale cheap, I send those to children's charities.

Wise use of the foreign market :)

As part of eBay's security efforts, your account has been suspended pending additional account verification. To appeal this suspension, please provide the following:

Once you get one of these, you are toast...

This seems like easy info to photoshop. Do you think they run your driver's license number? Even if you have 50% success rate, you'll still have limits lifted on 50% of the accounts.

Got out of another MC999 on a 2mo old account. Listed a laptop and got MC999 within 2 hrs. Female eb rep said she was going to ask me the questions, and I had my Word doc open and Google Maps, etc. But then she changed her mind and just verified me without asking the questions.

I think it helped that her race was the same as my stealth guy. Or maybe it was her break time and was in a hurry. Whatever it was, big relief to me.
