CPU, ebay has built in description and pictures for major items out there, mostly things you can find in retail stores. That's what FBCM used, it shouldn't have anything to do with his suspension.

If you used the same Modem, they could save your mac address. I am not sure but thats one possibility...

Acid4u, that's how they got me. I had a linxsys N router but my son could not watch the season finale of LOST on his xbox with it, (didn't matter I dvr the whole series) so I switched back to the g router, the next day or two later they suspended all of my accounts because of an old account used on the g router. Now I have no router to worry about. He and I share a newtork with laptops (router) but my desktop is completely stand alone (no router)on comcast.

Your Linksys routher is connected to the cable modem right? So the final mac address is your modem mac address which is not changable unless you change your cable modem (its in the back of your modem), I think you should buy another cable modem and call comcast and tell them your old modem is not working, just make up a reason blah blah, and they will ask you to provide them your new modem serial and mac address so they could enter it in their servers, I am not sure but I think that could solve the problem. The easy way to find this is to use a dial up with new account and see if they get you again.

With Comcast just bring the modem to the local center. Call them first to make sure they have one in stock and/or are open. In my area only the main comcast center is open on Saturdays but they will exchange the modem; there is no fee and they record the mac address and everything right there before you take it home.

During the work week all the other satellite centers are open.

look the only way to get back on ebay and start selling a good amount of goods is to wait 30 days for the ac**** to age. i made a few new account following the rules on these forum and i am selling items VERY slowly.. like a tennis racket last week, calculator couple days ago, and my old cell phone today. if you do all the rules and completely change everything on your comp you should be fine.
