Default Wireless broadband subscriptions are they dynamic IP's?

Was thinking that the wireless broadband services would be a nice alternative to dialup as dialup takes forever. Anyone know if its dynamic, static, or maybe static to a geographic area of service?

I actually had a broadband card for about 2 months... I didn't like it. For one, it was about the speed of dial up and in some locations it wouldn't even connect! Actually that was it! It was just slow. Though it does change your IP every time you connect which is one of the reasons I bought it. I guess it would be OK if you travel a lot, but since I didn't, I never really used it. And plus its $60 a month! It's a little expensive... I could get T1 for that price.

I currently use my home DSL (through modem) on my PC.

I also have a PPC phone with unlimited internet access which I use to tether on my laptop. It's wireless (of course). It changes the IP everytime you log on, and it's about 200-250Kbps which is pretty good.
