When will ebay or paypal verify ID
 

In the guide it states to use false name and address, but at what stage will Ebay or Paypal ask for your id. Ebay will sometimes request that you fax id, but when will this happen. Also they can request that you fax your suppliers contacts - when does this happen?.

ebay never asks your to fax in your identity, unless you want reinstate yourself from a suspension.

Paypal will ask for your SSN, supplier information, supplier invoices, this can happen AT ANYTIME PAYPAL FEELS LIKE IT. But usually it happens after you reach a certain amount of incoming cashflow.
