eBay account suspended!! Please help!
 

I'm living in Taiwan and I registered on the US ebay site for an account, which was fine until I posted my first listing (an Amazon gift card), and then I got an MC999 suspension notice. I contacted CS and they asked me to send my passport and proof of address documents.

The problem is this: I'm a student living in a dorm, so I don't have any utility bills or anything like that delivered here. My passport and other documents are in Chinese so they won't match up with my eBay name. My current address is a PO box. I called CS and explained all this to them, but there was one Indian lady who just kept going on a loop telling me that I needed to send my ID, there was nothing they could do etc etc.

I think the problem is that I'm a) using a US account even though I'm in Taiwan, and b) the PayPal email I use is different to my eBay email. My bank account, phone number, and debit card have all been verified by PayPal so there's no problem there.

I asked the lady if there was any way to close my account so I could start one on HK eBay, which can allow you to type Chinese, but she went on another loop that suspended accounts were completely frozen etc etc.

So here's what I want to know:
a) is there any way of getting this account back? I've already wasted tons of money talking to the CS lady on a loop
b) if not, is there any way of getting them to close my account?
c) can I start another account on HK eBay?
d) Will this affect my PayPal? My bank account is verified and there's money in the account too; should I be worried and close the account?

Forget the suspended account. Then stealth account is the final answer. I think..Then keep slow walking on eBay street.

It is my recommend.

In answer to your questions:

a) I would not attempt to get that account back. It is already flagged and sort of a waste of time. I would highly recommend starting fresh and going stealth. It is definitely worth learning the ins and outs of stealth because it will help you succeed in the long run.
b) Don't waste time on getting the account closed. I personally would just abandon it.
c) Use stealth and you can make as many HK ebay accounts as you wish.
d) I don't think it will affect your paypal if it hasn't already but I would not link to any other eBay accounts because that will cause problems.

My experience with suspended account what i found about 2 years.

My first account was on my real name - banned in 7 months - because of paying fees with another credit card - which wasnt on my name. Called, and answer "its rsky for us"... in this case - paypal limited too [its everytime].

So i did another account on the "⊗⊗⊗⊗" name. It was fine, i did PayPal account on my brother. With this PayPal i did verification on eBay for selling. OK! BUT, immediately unlinked it. Because - nice, not touched PayPal is very good thing.
And did another payment method - Skrill. Works perfectly. BUT ANOTHER MISTAKE - i did it everything on the same PC. MAC adress, IP - banned.

So i purchased new Laptop, new provider IP [mobile USB internet] and did another account. Super fine, used old PayPal for verification and now selling OK. Ofcourse immediately unlinked PayPal - only linking, if i want to buy something.

But today after 14 months BAN. The mistake was - eBay mobile browser [cookies there] :D So, i hope that i sent you some good info about eBay :] And next time will be better!!!

Once you link pp for eb verification, you are linked to that pp account for life no matter you unlink it or not.
