Google voice expired any effect to eBay account
 

Hi,

Any one know. When your google voice which we add to eBay account nearly expire. It will automatic warning you a few week before the time come. I just wonder. Will it be a problem with my eBay if I use google voice for a year.

Does eBay will random call you? And is it possible suspend me if there is no phone add?

Or I need to open new Google voice the add to account again? Is it risk when I add new google again?

Please clarify.

Yes ebay does call at random.

But ebay also understands that people change phone numbers.

You could add another google number. That should not be trouble.

It is better to have a working phone.

I have US account. It is not possible to use work phone.

I am sweating google voice less. On one of my stealth accounts, an eBay rep left a voicemail. The outgoing message was the standard 'this is google voice' message.

No harm as of yet to the account.

First thing to do when create a google voice account is to make sure you put a real answering machine

GreenBean said you should have a "working phone", not a "work phone". Greenbean is saying that it is important to have a phone number on your account that isn't dead.

Ha you must had a loser agent - they have procedure in place to limit an account when this is heard. He did not do his job well but...hey, nice for you

Make sure you go into communications on the My Ebay tab and click off the check mark for sales, marketing, promotions etc. calls to come in.

I make sure to call all my Google voice accounts and leave a message once a month. Google will expire after a couple months of inactivity

I know everyone says ebay calls, but with 3 stealth accounts, one a PS that did 35k last year I have never picked up a ebay/paypal call. Have yet to have problems. Only one google voice is set to forward to my cell so I see their voicemails but never picked up yet :)

I have been running into a similar problem getting messages about my Google voice expiring. I normally run 1 TracFone with 1 Google voice. Getting in a habit of sending a txt message back and forth once a month as well.

no problem friend . my google voice expired for long time. my account still alive .

I give out my GV number to telemarketers so they keep the line from expiring.

The account will still alive even google voice expiry and change new number without informing eBay.
