mc999 "ebay serious security concerns"
 

After I read so many similar stories I would just want to add my own, so people could understand what eBay is.

I was selling my own paintings and copies of my own oil paintings for only 2 months in ebay..3 days ago [took me a while to digest] I received an indefinite account suspension for " serious security concerns".

Ebay informed all of my buyers that I am not authorized to sell these items although these paintings are mine and genuine. Although I had every single and each record for shipping, they wouldn't listen or investigate that these drawings are mine.

because of this, I received emails from costumers who asked for my own drawings origin..I feel puke just to think a corrupted system like eBay could hold for so long. the last thing I can do is consider a stealth account for my signature and name is on each drawing I sold - but what concerns eBay is that I am a security problem. This may sounds weird to all tough ppl who re attempt being eBayers - my reaction to their rudeness was to refund ALL buyers which ever bought from me these drawings for now I am certain Ebay system is nothing more then a fraud, since they could identify me with no problems for each and every painting that was shipped had my own address and name.

I am sorry to hear that man. I haven't experienced anything similar yet and I hope I will never have to.

sorry to hear that, it seems weird, on these facts alone, originals by you, not anything
copied. Maybe you were banned before and they detected you? or you used vcc or info/details/ip, they did not like as they were knew they were stealth somehow. What i am saying is something triggered it...you need to figure out what

What country's account was this?

You said you sold copies of your paintings.... Maybe somebody thought they were getting an original?

Or a competitor dropped the VERO hammer on you. If you don't register for VERO rights, they can jump your claim.

I would seriously consider hiring an attorney and suing for damages in a case like this.

There must be some copyright or trademark violations we don't know much about it. I'd suggest you get some experts on this topic to find out more...
