Using two accounts to avoid Vero

Hi I have two ebay accounts that are linked together by one paypal account. On my first account I already have two vero violations on it and my policy compliance level is considered "low". On my second account, which is linked to my first account, does not have any violations on it at all. It's a new account. My question is, if I get a violation on my second account, will that violation carry from my second account onto my first account? Would they suspend me for getting a vero violation on my second account just because I had two on my first account? I stopped selling on my first account for a while now, but I'm worried that violations carry over from other accounts.

Never experienced that, I would assume at first no, but If someone from eBay/Paypal ever looked through your account I would expect it to be shut down

Thank you for the reply. Does anyone have any experience with these kinds of things? Anyone use two accounts to avoid vero?

The trick is to have Multiple accounts that are NOT linked to each other. Also, if you keep getting VERO violations then you should re-evaluate what your selling.

I know, it's just, i read in the ebay stealth book that it's still technically okay if I have two accounts linked to one paypal account for vero. This is the quote I am referring to:

"The benefits of having multiple eBay accounts is to spread out your risk – for example if one day your primary eBay account were to have a strike or two against it, you can then move over to your second eBay account and continue selling from there while your primary account cools down. This is great for VeRO alerts!"

This quote was under the "Can I have multiple eBay accounts per Paypal account?" section. I'm assuming this is what they meant but I need to be sure.

Do not re-evaluate what you are selling!

90% of the people on here sell vero items

Vero high risk items make the most money and everybody knows it, thats the whole point of needing stealth accounts.. I know I'll get bashed for saying it but its true.

So sick of hearing people say find safe, non risky, non vero items while they also sell them!

Make tons of stealth and sell the hell out of them :)

That's really not the case, alot of people on here run real businesses selling genuine items.

VERO might look good but it's not a long term solution if you are serious about your business

Pasicel 04-04-2013 04:47 PM

Vero doesn't mean phake.

rl123456789 04-04-2013 04:49 PM

The items I am selling are not ⊗⊗⊗⊗, Apple just decided to vero it anyways....It really irritated me. But anyways, back to the topic, will two accounts linked together share violations?

36.8% of people said they got done for selling foo-foo.

Stop making foo-foo statements when you do not have all the facts.

Your assumption made you sound silly.

VeRo selling is not condoned by the forum.

Not usually.

What others do is rest the dinged account until the violations drop off.

This does mean that you do not sell anything 'problematic' on your 2nd account.

You are not going to be wise to sell on the 1st account for months.

You mentioned APPLE. What type of item are you selling? You have to be super careful with selling items associated with a brand name.

Vero is name brand items are they not?

I don't know what foo foo means, that makes YOU sound silly, unless you are implying fak es which does not mean Vero!

If you did sell fak es would you join here and admit it? not likely.

maya9966 04-04-2013 05:18 PM

if you ever tried to call ebay for any reason ,they would find out the link between the 2 accounts andwould definitely suspend your account.my account was suspended cause of the policy violation on my other account.they came to know about this when i called them.

Oh so I shouldn't sell the same item on my second account that got me veroed on my first account?

If I do receive a vero violation on my second account, my first account shouldn't be suspended right? (based off of what you said before)

I was selling iPhone 5 charging cables (generics). I clearly stated that they were generic and not from Apple. I did not try to make the impression that they were from Apple. I did not try to mislead anyone. They were just generic cables.

maya9966 04-04-2013 05:22 PM

no matter ,what you sell on your second account.same items doesnt matter.whenever your account is checked you it will be shut down.

rl123456789 04-04-2013 05:26 PM

When are accounts normally checked?

maya9966 04-04-2013 05:40 PM

whenever one calls ebay, otherwise no problem.i was selling the same items on my both accounts except the only 1 vero item on my ist account cause of which my account got blocked (selling indefinitely).ebay was not aware of my 2nd account before i made a call .

If you don't have the rights to a product...then you will be hit time after time after time, so it doesn't matter if the product is f@ke or not...

By telling the OP to keep selling their item is like telling someone to keep shooting themselves in the foot, How many Bank Accounts do you think the OP will go through in a year by following your advice?

last3379 04-05-2013 12:39 AM

You don't need a bank account to get your money out, there are plenty of other ways.

I only attach a bank account to my main accounts, the others i just play and get creative withdrawing.

Obviously if you can't afford to lose accounts then you are better off not selling any vero or foo-foo items :)

I dont agree.

I have hundreds of selling account running and it is NOT THE REASON for my stealth accounts. ( I still have my original legit account as well )

I dont sell anything vero or phake and know of the 3000 active members here no way 90% of us are selling vero items.

And I know many who I help personally who dont sell vero either.

I don't think it is 90% of people on here. But this forum surely does have its share of people that either sell Vero or phakes. As far as advocating selling Vero or phakes that is a grown up decision somebody needs to make themself. You may have more to worry about than just eBay and PayPal. I will agree in general if you go down that route you are correct in hiding yourself drawing less attention to yourself by utilizing multiple accounts to spread out your items.
