MC999 VERO How many is too many?

So I have received 1 VERO on Jan, and 1 VERO this week, the account is still running, with 200+ feedback and stellar DSR.

What is the risk of this account being closed down? And how many future MC999 can I risk?

And for those who once had accounts suspended due to VERO, how many violation warnings did you receive before the "final" action?

(Of course, this is a hypothetical question -- I am not going to risk it, but I am just curious how close to the edge I currently am.)

Thanks guyz!

Hypothetically I love paypal

One more and expect issues.

If you get that, you have to allow at least 90 days.

Shaky ground.

Here's a point to consider. These drop off your seller's dashboard. Your account looks 'stellar'.
But should you have another issue within 15 to 18 months ebay may suspend your account permanently.
Operate with this in mind. Look seriously to avoid vErO.
It's not up for discussion as far as I am concerned.
Avoid VeRo.

Hahahahaha!

Seriously I wasn't expecting anything less from RSOT.

Next question is going to be: What item are you selling?

Books... I am selling international editions.

Anyway, I just realized the first one on Jan is not VERO, it is copyright violation reported by ebay users... recent one is reported by copyright owners... not sure whether that makes a difference. Probably ebay is more concerned with complaint from rights owners?

Gamefreak 04-19-2013 12:49 AM

3 in a year in CERTAINLY too many.

Time to learn not to sell over and over items that get you slammed.

Build up some accounts selling other items for a period of time and then see if it will work.

Be smart and learn how to list something without issues.

It is associated, sadly. Clue word is 'copyright'. All tied up with vErO.

Check the type of 'strikes' you have..

chaichoayi, you have correctly identified that your account is on thin ice. Bolster your account performance with sales of non-problematic items - keep those international edition listings off for now.

You really want to sell those? Make new accounts and experiment.

check your dashboard, will show what risk you are at

Dude,,Stop Kidding yourself,,you really wanna fix this,,,Make a NEW account or two and SHUT that one down for 1 YEAR (Thats how long it takes for a VERO Violation to Fall off),,and even that might not save the account,,,

If you keep selling and have ANY Problem, Not Just a VERO Problem, ANYTHING like mabee even a NEUTRAL Feedback, It is a Pretty good bet that you will find a Fork in your a$$, because you will be DONE,,,

GreenBean 04-20-2013 01:36 AM
