7 Day Suspension - What to do
 

Hi all

I just got hit with a MC198 temporary selling suspension for 7 days. One of my listings got vero'ed.

The email said that I won't be able to sell on my accounts during the suspension however all my listings are still there?

And I have sold a few bits as well.

Should I be removing all my listings during the suspension? I would have thought ebay would have removed them temporarily.

Any suggestions? I don't want to lose this account, anything I can do to increase chances of not getting perm ban?

I would just leave them, if ebay want them taken down they will take them down. Leave the account for at the very least a few weeks, ideally a month before listing anything on it again. Do not list another VERO item for quite sometime.

Is that a serious question?

How about considering stopping selling foo-foos? Might give your account a bit of a longer life.

Right now touch nothing & remove no listings. ebay will do that for you quickly enough.

Anything you do makes you appear guilty to them and.....

Once you get flagged for vero and the mentioned in the MC198 "Do not Relist"
DO NOT RELIST on you will get Perma banned

They don't remove your listings during a temporary suspension; they just prevent you from being able to make any new ones. Don't get caught listing VERO items again; next time it will be a permanent ban

as everybody said, take it slow, list high risk items on other accounts

Yea, stop whatever you are listing that got you caught on that account. You are lucky if you get it back. Most of the people I know with the 7 Day ban, immediately after the 7 days they got a permanent suspension. Not sure if UK eBay has a different policy.

But once you get a Vero violation not worth risking the account again with any merchandise like that for at-least a year.

Dont re-sell the same goods. Wait for the ban to be over and sell other things that are low-risk.

Make new backup accounts. If your item is high risk, do the steps needed to lower the risk...many options (if legit)

Those other accounts will be affected as well unless you vary your listings and learn the expert listing techniques hah
