anyone considered legally changing your name to start new?

i just thought, if some of us were to legally change our names, we could maybe get credit cards and bank accounts in that name instead of our blacklisted name! good idea or not?

me too! that pathetic site isn't worth enough for me to do that, i like my name...but it could be a last resort thing for a really desperate person!

It would be easier to get your SSN changed and move to another state.. Name change for eBay is crazy!

If you are relying on ebay that much something is wrong.

Its not the name you have to worry about or ebay, its the SSN and paypal that is more worrisome. Once paypal has your SSN, that info is kept in their systems. Its almost impossible to get a new SSN.
