Selling privileges restricted
 

Hello all,

I have been using a stealth account for the last 6 months without issues. I got it up to 99.9% positive w/ Top Rated / Powerseller status w/ a eBay Store.

I mostly sell legit items and mix in some 'not so legit' ones. I started to get hit w/ trademark policy violations (because I was stupid and put real pictures instead of generic ones - learned that lesson now).

Anyway, if I create a new account and its linked to this one, will my selling restrictions also be limited on the new account?

I was debating these options...

1. start all over w/ fresh, new stealth account (not my favorite option, since i'll be limited from selling what i'm used to for 3 months)
2. buy a fresh account in the marketplace on here
3. provide the documentation & also create a new account and link it so i'm not limited to sell.


Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks!

Your eBay account has been limited to allow us to confirm your identity and review current business practices.

To verify your account please send us the following documentation

1. A copy of an official, Government-Issued Photo ID (Driver's license, passport, etc.)

2. A recent copy of Utility Bill, bank statement or credit card statement to validate address.

3. Most recent purchase invoice of items being sold.

Be sure to include your User ID and email address of the account on the submitted documents. If the fax doesn't contain this information, we won't be able to process it.

Adding a 2nd account will not work in your proposed manner.

You run a risk of having selling limits SPLIT between accounts.

Most unwise idea.

Lesson learned - use generic pictures ;-)

Try to use your own. Avoid 'stock' photos.

Do not link this new account to anything :)

Option 1 or 2 works well as long as you are confident with your stealth skills. Best of luck
