What I have to do to not get suspension?
 

Hi guys,

I had been selling CDs on EBay for 7 8 months, but then my computer got broken and I stopped logging my account in any other laptop. It has been 6 months already. Now I got a new laptop. If I try to get back and start selling now, would I get suspended bc of new cookies? and IP? I haven't started yet. What should I do to avoid being suspended?

You should be fine. EB knows people get new laptops ect. Just don't try to sell lots and lots suddenly. Browse around on EB and build up cookies, and sell slowly

Start off by logging in to your account and build cookies and browsing history possibly buy couple items . Wait couple weeks and than start selling. Don't rush it start slow and work ur way up

but what about IP, cause I cant get static IP, mine changes all the time. Should I try to change that or just use it?

Welcome to the forums - nurse the account onto the computer...browse, bid, build history THEN sell - dont jump right away. I have done this for various accounts

yes thats always better, build some history first but i could say it could be done way sooner than doing it for few weeks.

selling straight away could also work, the platform will most probably ask you for your security questions or could want you to confirm its you by confirming a pin sent to your email or phone, depends. i have done this quite few times, never had issues with suspensions or limits.

anyway its always better to browse, bid first before you start selling on a new pc

You should still be fine. As long as you build cookies for that account the IP changing all the time should not matter.

It should be fine , but dont listing item too fast when u start your business ~
