MC999 linked account

I had three super account (million dollar limits) linked together selling for years (same paypal). I was not stealth at the time.

First one got MC999 in November (could not really understand reason - maybe link to 5y old suspended account?)

2 other accounts were still standing until this morning. Another one got MC999 linked account today (6 months day to day)

1 have one super account left (+ all the other stealh I am building :-) )

Question: since all the accounts are linked, is it worth calling ebay and trying to get the second account back? I don't want them to take a look and suspend third account.

PS: Since I have preparing myself with stealth, this suspension is not as painful as the one 6 months ago.

jeffweico 06-25-2013 07:26 PM

That is a hard decision. Because it IS possible the third account could go down as well. Did you really have a 5 year old suspended account? Do the accounts have ANY other issues? Are your items considered "high risk" by eBay?

john456 06-25-2013 09:30 PM

No other issues. I was selling low risk items in specific niche. Dsr are ok on all.

I know that ebay customer sevice can see other linked accounts. back in november when i was calling about first, they said i had other active aacounts . That is why i stopped trying to get first account back.

I would love to get second back but i am afraid for third.

I need more time to ramp up my stealth accounts.

J.

I wouldn't call eBay because when you call about your account eBay does an in-depth look at your account and they will notice your third account.

jeffweico 06-26-2013 12:17 AM

I agree. Once you have your stealth accounts set up, then maybe you would want to revisit the possibility of calling eBay about the second account. I just think - from a business standpoint - that doing so right now is too risky, given that you only have one account left.

I Concur,,VERY RISKY to call Ebay

john456 06-26-2013 01:54 AM

Thx all. I will lay low.

rsot 06-26-2013 03:30 PM

You already have MC999 on off the accounts - begin transition sales off of the others...never know when they will be zapped

Que?

on off off of????

Alliteration or confusion.

Sorry but what are you saying...
:mod:

john456 06-27-2013 10:40 AM

Thx for feedback.

I am transfering all my ads to stealth accounts with new pics, new template, new image hosting, etc...

I may call when last linked account gets MC999. At that point i will have nothing to loose.

GoteBay 06-27-2013 11:01 AM

Save you time instead of calling eBay, start a new Stealth Account.

I am saying that because all are linked and one is having problem...other accounts will have problems in the future...best to start moving sales to new UNLINKED steaths pronto.

john456 06-28-2013 07:12 PM

Thanks. Got the message and i am moving all my ads to my stealth accounts.

I feel like my merchandise is on a sinking ship and i am loading it all on small anonymous ships!! Operation rescue!!

bigboddie 06-28-2013 09:54 PM

Just call ebay and if it fails create a new stealth or ten of them for that matter

vogeltron 07-07-2013 04:50 AM

I would leave it alone until the last one if linked. However, I do find it crazy if you are selling as much as you claim that they are taking down your accounts.

Unlike Whitman who would take down anyone, Mr. Donahue seems to leave on people who pay eBay/PayPal a bundle of money no matter their status as long as they are meeting the fee thresholds.

rsot 07-09-2013 11:17 AM

Haha Mr. Donahue is the source of it all eh? Good cause pinpointing :FF:

I wasnt selling up to my limit, but i was selling well. Good account, good dsr. Low risk items, non vero and then poof!!

Each time i called after suspension i was told 'cant give you details, we dont want to do business with you anymore, go try amazon'

I moved on and i am doing stealth. I want to stealth at epic scale just to beat eBay at their own stupidity and make $$

What caused the suspension? I will never know. I was a high risk apparently.

You got that Reversed,,It was Donahue when he Took over Ebay from Whitman a few Years ago that fancied himself as Ebays Version of WYATT EARP,,,and chased so many Sellers that he almost NARUed Ebay,,,Now over the last coupler of Years he has Calmed down a BIT,,(Not Much)

rsot 07-10-2013 10:40 AM

@john456, forget the past and future on building 5-10 accounts - you will see how sales will restart well :thumb:
