Linking Old Paypal with Active Powerseller Ebay (whose paypal is limited)

Hi everyone,

Just 2 days ago my paypal got permanently limited, but my powerseller ebay account is still active and running. And this is my only active EB/PP

I have some seasonal merchandise that I must get rid of.

My question is: If I combine the active powerseller ebay account with an old (but still active) PP account whose EBAY counterpart was permanently suspended, how long can I last before Ebay links and suspends both of them?

In your experience, how much time would it take for EBAY to notice and crackdown?

Thanks!

Anything from 10 seconds to a much longer time

Will not matter I will hunt you down and shoot you for being stupid.

Please avoid this method, please

Do not kill a power seller account

Yes, you are totally right.

It's an act of desperation. What else is a powerseller ebay account good for if its original Paypal is limited?

Paypal alternative seem to be far less effective...

Ah, one can only be momentarily desperate. It took me three months to get over that. :faint:

Can you consider a merchant account?

Greenbean, thank you, your advice makes a lot of sense, especially as I just became a top rated seller with final value fee discounts.

In that case, I will probably use Propay instead.

However, when signing up for Propay, can I use my own real information (which was associated with a previously suspended ebay account)?

I realize that Propay is a 3rd party, but I don't know if Ebay will see my real name at all when I link EB with Propay...

Thanks again!

Not really - but always good to operate with stealth - Propay, Payment and Skrill are good options to consider
