Personal eBay has been suspended, not for MC999!
 

Hi, I had my personal eBay account for about 2 years now, last year around this time it was suspended from selling on eBay.
(NOTE: I could still use it to buy things.)

I was wondering if I were to call eBay now (1 year later) and make up a story or something asking for them to "unsuspended" me, do you think it would work?

My sister has a eBay account registered on the same address, IP, etc and she is still able to sell and buy, clearly they didn't block the address or IP.

My dad has an eBay with a different address but same IP, and he is able to sell and buy.

I wasn't suspended for selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗, it was because I copied someones pictures and descriptions, silly, I know. Anyway any ideas?

Well you run the risk of if you do phone, getting the accounts linked to you suspended.

Down to if you want to take that risk or not.

If you are happy to take that risk, then ring, if not then don't ring. I would create some stealth account either way

Definitely do not you will end up getting your families accounts suspended its just how ebay operates. They hear a million sob stories a day , you won't get reinstated and most likely put the other accounts at risk

I would not risk their accounts, as you can easily go stealth and be bigger and better than before.

But if you are all still on the same IP than you will be linked with any old, current, or new accounts.

He said he already has 20 stealth accounts so he is already up and running stealths.

Very useful information, I've had other people tell me that if a suspended account is linked with any others, they will suspend those accounts too.

Time for stealth doesnt necessarily mean CREATING new accounts bossladies :) he has 20 - so he should FOCUS on them....dont overread the comment please :FF: - no broken glasses involved.

True, I just made my first stealth account the other day after my account was suspended, they also suspended my cousins, and girlfriends account within the same week. They weren't even linked, however I logged onto my account at their homes a few times, that's hardly fair. But thankfully I found stealth =)

They WERE linked - you will understand after reading about stealth :)
