turn buyers acct. into sellers acct.

hi a friend of mine gave me there 2007 ebay account.
They never sold anything only bought about 5 different items at different times.
I want to sell things with it but its asking me for a automatic payment method for paying seller fees. I really don't want to put my real info.
I do have a account now account(with no funds on it) can i add money to it to get around this. What to do. I don't wan't to get linked. Thank you

You would be best to set up a PayPal with info that matches the account, then add a VCC to this PayPal and use that as your automatic payment method.

Bare in mind that because the eBay account has not yet sold anything on it, it will be treated as a new sellers account, so will not be that different to a brand new eBay stealth account. Treat it the same way RE listing items.

If that 2007 account has no selling history, it will be treated as new.

Be careful how you deal with everything.

Much will depend on what you sell and how you set this up at the moment.

When I started selling on eBay, my legit account was 7 years old. eBay treated like any new Stealth Account beginning with a 10/$1000 selling limit.

Since you are dealing with more than one account with different info, I would spend time reading the guide before moving an inch.

Be patient go slow, no big sales in the beginning this gets ebay nervous and you have the potential of being shut down if there's any perceived risk in your business

If you hate eB...kind of logical to stay away :FF: - joking but...dont rag on it if you want to flourish on it.

You will need to create a pp account (MAKE SURE YOUR FRIEND DOESNT HAVE AN OLD PP ACCT already associat +/- banned with this eB).

Worth noting is that since you are beginning sales NOW...your account will be treated as a new seller account in 2013...you wont have the grandfathered-abilities of a 2007 seller's account...very important.

use paypal for your auto payment , remember save some money in paypal for the selling fee ~

2007 with no selling activity is like a brand new one made today as far as selling limits will go.

No need to add your real info at all.

Automatic payment is not meaning to come from your bank.

They want to know how you are going to pay your fees. And you will want to pick paypal.

Ship your items fast and get the paypal holds off because your fees wont need to be paid until next month so you are good there.

If you have an account now, pp only sees the account and routing numbers.

Add it to your pp account, they will send you the two deposits.

Wait a couple of days, get those deposits and confirm your pp account.

Now you have a bank to withdraw to.

Make sure you leave enough in the pp to cover your fees and shipping cost of your sales.

Go slow with this account. Do not sell high priced, new, brand new, risky etc.

Read this thread.

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-di...raw-mc999.html

Your account will be treated as a brand new account and will be looked at closely.

List some households type items for a month first.

I agree a selling account with some history may keep help you from avoiding a MC999 if you list too much to fast. But you will still have the 10/$1000 limits to start off and have to go from there.
