Selling portion suspended...
 

So.. another setback for me yesterday.

I received the message

" Hello.... We need some help in verifying your information and until that is completed, you will no longer be able to list any new items on ebay. ... blah blah Please check your messages for more information"

So I do. Turns out that my actual ebay account is not suspended per say, but rather I can't list anymore until I fax in invoices and a drivers license. Crap

Anyone else receive this message lately?

I received it on several of my stealths... :(

Have a question though. Since they technically didn't suspend the account, would it be okay to open a brand new ebay and connect it to the paypal? Or just scrap it and start over.

You need to start over.

Unless if you can really verify that information, many accounts died the same way. Take a deep breath and move on.

Right, eB doesn't suspend an account right away. Instead, they restrict it and give you an opportunity to fix this (this is why they are asking for documentation from you). If you can't provide it, then it pretty much brings the account to a halt.

This doesn't mean you can go creating a new account w/ the same old information b/c you will be taken down in short time.

Start over with stealth and never look back.

They re restrict your account , if u can follow the email send them the information they need , then your account can be reinstated , paypal is under ebay company , so i dont think link to new ebay is good idea ~

Unless OP faxes in the required info... :)

If not, stealth - no use of old info - creation is back in effect

@turkeyhunt, reread your post and saw that message...you need to figure out WHY you are getting this...maybe a problem with your business model i.e. what you are selling....buyer's feedback...etc. - your decision ultimately
