m699 Warning?
 

Hello, I'm new to this forum and just a couple weeks ago my personal ebay and paypal account were banned for selling Vero items. I'm trying to restart my online business and start fresh with a new paypal and ebay account. (under family members name)

I sold name brand cell phone cases on my previous account which led to me getting banned 2 weeks in. On this new account, I want to start by just selling generic, non branded, basic cell phone cases. (Under 8 USD each) Before I do that, does anyone have any advice for me so I don't get limited again?

Most important advice is to NOT use any of your family member's name or information.

You need to learn and practice stealth account(s). Pick up a stealth guide and read up on the forum. There is alot of information available to you. Best of luck,

1st advice, don't use your family, friends names....this is the worst thing you can do. If you need to create new accounts there are other methods.

Dang, I could've swore when I read the ebay Stealth Guide the first option said it would be easier to use friend or family's name. May I ask why this is a bad idea? Do you think I'll get banned for same last name?

The book is a bit outdated and hence why the forum is here. It's a bad idea because what are you going to do IF you burn those accounts in your family names?

The last thing you need is to be burning their names when it's not necessary even if they never plan to have an ebay/pp account it's just best to open your own stealths.

I was under the impression if there was no negative balance left on the paypal account, their credit status wouldn't be affected. Either way, I would much rather open stealth accounts under different names than my families. I just know I have to have a SSN in order to withdraw and I can't think of a way around that. If someone could share a link or any tips on how I can make stealth accounts under different names, that'd be great. I can't find much info in the stealth guide.

Who said you need a SSN to withdraw?
For stealth you need 2 things:
1. A CC (in this case a Visa/MasterCard Gift Card)
2. A Bank Account OR a VBA which just verifies the Paypal.

You really should read around the forum, I don't think you fully grasp the way Stealth works.

Not to withdraw sorry, withdraw more than $500 a month. I know I've been banned from paypal for 2 weeks but I clearly remember reading that. If there are ways to get around that forgive me, I don't recall reading that any where but I'd really like to know how. I do understand that I can make a paypal under "John Smith" and then make a credit card, and then a VBA under "John Smith"

Just the withdraw limit thing being lifted is what I'm not understanding.

Other tip: don't start sell with brand cellphone cases right away - bit high risk, with regards to phone and BRAND name...VeRo issues.

Paypal gives 3 options to Fully Verify a Paypal
1. Bank Account
2. Credit Card
3. SSN

1 and 2 are the way we go to FULLY Verify the Paypal.

You don't "Make" a Credit Card in John Smith, you can use a Vanilla Visa Gift Card which only needs to register the zipcode on the stealth.

You really need to read around the forum, your confusion will subside once you begin to understand how it all works, some learn quick, and for some it takes longer.

The last thing you need to do is rush into this and make errors.

I am not aware of needing a SSN this in the US to withdraw more than $500 a month.

This would be a VCC, or a gift card. Not a 'real' bank card

Bare in mind that you cannot withdraw to a VBA. Still need a real bank account for this / another method (Payoneer for example)

Sorry, guess I hadn't read up enough before I posted this. Lots of good information though. Someone else had told me about Payoneer. From what I understand I'm going transfer from paypal to vba to my bank account correct?
If I make a vba through payoneer, they will provide me with bank acc # and routing?

VBA = Virtual Bank Account....You use this to ONLY help verify the Paypal Account, you can't withdraw money to it...You add a VBA also so you don't waste a Real Bank Account in case the Ebay/PP get zapped right away.

Once the Ebay/PP seem to be solid then you add a REAL bank account (one that allows for mismatch name deposits) to your Paypal and withdraw to your REAL bank account.

My suggestion would be to purchase a VBA from any of the verified sellers on this forum, this way you know it will work.

Oh okay.
So if I have 3 different stealth accounts with all different vba attatched to them, can i put my bank acc # on all 3 of those accounts to withdraw the money or i'd need 3 seperate bank accounts?

NO, you need 3 separate Bank Accounts.

SideNote, you can use 3 separate accounts from the same bank. Also a must is having a bank that will allow mismatch name deposits.

What was your actual notice of suspension?

Not sure what an MC699 is.

For professional sellers, we moved on from using friends/family info. ( Issue of taxes nowdays).

You should avoid generic items to sell. Often they have a defacto association with branded ones. You will see yourself banned again.

I suggest to go over everything and adjust what you are thinking. Some of your ideas are not accurate.

It seems you think it much more complicated than it is.

100% agree. Never use family info. If you are selling branded items and booted what they heck would make you think you wouldn't get booted again selling the same items. Fool me once.. fool me twice....

The people who sell Vero/Phake items successfully eBay have been around a long time. They understand what they can get away with and what they can not. Which products and brands are under more scrutiny than others.
