What to do with pre 11/07 account - a pre 11/2007 account is LIKE GOLD!
 

I tell you, the more I read about buying accounts the happier I am that I didn't really pursue finding a buyer for my sister's pre-11/07 acct. She is going to let me have it!
But to clarify.....She just used her account to buy one thing, never sold anything, never bought anything else. Didn't have the account tied in to any PayPal account. So I should just be able to set up a merchant acct and plug that in to that acct? What do I change as far as information? Do i just keep everything as is? She lives in the same general area as I do, within 25 miles, and certainly within any ip address range. She has moved since she opened the acct so the phone # originally gave them won't work should they call it. Will that be a problem? I will feel a LOT more confident using this acct to really get seriously back into selling like old times. Gawd that will be good.....!

Be careful! Those pre 11/20/07 accounts are worth thousands and could really help you stay online for a long long time.

Given the circumstances of the account, I recommend leaving everything the same.Get the merchant account asap and watch when you start to list.

Not really. You'll still be scrutinized like anyone else depending on what you're selling. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar.

Well of course if you sell Vero or high risk items any account will get knocked by eBay after a couple of warnings

Also aksjkas yes pre 11/07 accounts sell for thousands of dollars!
