HIDE IP SOFTWARE? WHAT WORKED FOR ME ON SUSPENDED IDs.
 

Well, we are on our 5th eBay Selling (PowerSeller 10,000+ feedback) ID. We have two active and just recently had a third until May, but one of our employees logged in to an old suspended account by accident, then logged into our third ID later that night. In about 6 days, eBay shut us down. So, the IP thing works and eBay DOES TRACE your IP if you are linked to a suspended seller, our other two IDs are still fine and have no issue. Word of advice there is if you are banned, NEVER LOG IN AGAIN, don't EVEN EMAIL! Turn off your modems for 1 min, and routers, turn them back on, and register all new with all new virtual identity.

We have now switched to a HIDE MY IP2007 program, it switches your IP every 10-15 min if you want, and keeps them all in the USA. This will prevent that from happening again, we hope.

One question for you all, do you think that having a "hopping/10min switching IP" IP will ban us even sooner? I'm afraid that they may look at us more, see that we log in from every known state in the same hour and put us under the microscope.

One thing, all our accounts have different addresses, different bank accounts/credit cards, different names for registration, but all similar selling items. Works for us, will update you if eBay catches us for IP Hopping. Off to register our 6th and 7th ID.

I think the hopping IP thing will only cause more attention to your accounts. EBay is smart; there fraud detection system is smart. They log each and every IP address used to connect to your account. When they find something is out of the ordinary, they act on it. Same with Paypal.

aspkin is right, i think that Ebay/Paypal can detect the proxies , you can use the VPN it is more advanced.
also about changing the ip every 10min-15min, you can change it every session with that account and also within the range of address and the city.

if you use free proxy servers then you are going to be suspended super fast by ebay . There are paid ssl proxys that wuld work but you have to pay for them.

I use proxify.com for proxies. I haven't yet created an eBay account from it. I'll try it soon, and see what happens. I doubt the account will last long.

about VPN (Virtual Private Network), you can have some general knowledge about it in wikidepia or search google : VPN definition ...
if you have a US ebay/paypal account ,try to sign up with some companies that provide their server in US, first do some research and try to ask them about the IP range so you can see which city the server is located, then create the account with address in that city.
it is happened to me in the beginning : server was in ohio and the address of the account was in New york, i get limited after the first sale due as they said (ebay) inconsisting account.
