Reinstatement just to get fees?
 

I got an email saying that my old account has been reinstated after reviewing documents I sent in. I don't remember sending in any documents. Are they just sending this out in hopes that I will pay them the 22 dollars in fees that they left me with before I was suspended?

HI: Sometimes, any changes get that generic letter--did u pay the fees?
Ive paid fees on an acct i forgot about, then recd the same letter., I owed like $6.80--

ebay USA has been doing this for the past 4-6 months. Accounts with outstanding fees of under $100 or so, have been reinstated. Take it as a nice present and make sure not to ruin the account.

To bad it is not a pre 11/07 account. Maybe I should check to back some of my old account from than to see if those have been reinstated. They were all taken before I came to this site and knew about linking.

Be careful if you do that. Do not forget ebay could link you.;)

I just searched by ID that is supposed to be reinstated, but it is still showing up at NARU'd. Did they just boldface lie to me?
