avarshav | 02-15-2007 07:48 PM | suspended I, like many, have had my account suspended. For stupid vero issues, that no legitimate rights holder would really care about. I got about 3 or 4 vero complaints about different items in about a month's time frame, and got booted. I'm convinced at least 2 of them were not actual Vero owner's, rather competitors of mine.
Does anyone know what the "approval" process is to become a Vero owner? How does one put the shoe on the other foot and give a handful back to your competitors. I know a good 2 or 3 that deserve it. I'm willing to bet the process to become a Vero owner is no more involved than opening up an ebay account. It is maddening that they take the word of someone who signed up with Vero over yours at the drop of a hat. It is more maddening that they won't reveal the identity of the Vero holder to you, but in order for you to fight back and file a counter notice, they will give all your personal information to the Vero owner. Bull, I say.
I'm preparing my next battle with them. I'll get myself cleaned up with a new account with bogus info. Then when the first Vero assailant heads my way, I counter notice his a... Then all he's got is my bogus info. Now what is he going to do? Nothing! That's how you fight back.
Nevertheless, I would still prefer to get my old account back if at all possible. As I said, I got Vero'd off for 3 or 4 violations in about a month's time frame. I did their BS form to get reinstated, its been 3 days, and this is my first suspension. Anyone know the odds of getting reinstated after your first suspension like this? Do they automatically give you a 2nd chance on the first offense? or do they automatically blacklist you forever? What are the odds, ya think?
On a side note, I'm still getting my "watch list" emails from ebay telling my my watched items are ending soon. Ain't that a hoot! Too bad I can't stinkin' buy them! |
