Question about debit card and real name
 

Ok, I'm in the early stages of creating my new stealth account. I will be creating a new bank account. My question is the debit card from the bank will have my real name, but of course paypal & ebay will be getting the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info is it possible for paypal or ebay so see the bank info or debit card name? Thanks for the help I just want to make sure all of my ducks are in a row before i give this a go!

No, your real name will NOT be verified. But the address associated with the debit card WILL be. Specifically, the numbers in the address and the ZIP code. Below, in blue, is what is verified by the AVS system:

Stealth User
123 Main Street
Anytown, USA 12345

Thanks Jeff I really appreciate your help on that! So as long as my name is attached to the address that I open the account up with everything should be in the clear correct?

There is no verification of the name on a credit card or debit card. The only way for them to verify who owns the card would be for them to call the issuing bank directly. Normally, they don't so this, because it would be VERY labor intensive and not all issuing banks will verify that information.

I normally use either VCC's or gift cards that can be registered for my accounts. That way, I can put in any address I like.

TO BE CLEAR: The address associated with the debit card (the one the statements come to) will be the one that will be verified against. So, if your bank statement is going to 123 Main Street 10211, and your stealth address is 357 State Street 10277, they will NOT verify.
