suspension - advice needed please
 

Hi all,

My account got indefinite suspenion last week, still battling to reinstate, but the chances are slim as we all know! A good friend of mine offered me that i can use his address for new ebay account and also for my bank (i open new credit card and account number), will i be able to use my own name for paypal, but slightly different for ebay? Also planning to get a new laptop to start everything fresh! Would really appreciate your comments. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
as a starter:
strongly discourage to use someonelse data (address acoount name...) this is a big no no

use your data slightly different. If you can get another address you have access to is the best option.

No need to have a new laptop or pc. A fresh new user account will do.

Most important of all... read the Eaby Stealth Book and keep up to date here on the forum.

I wouldn't use your name for PP, remember PP and eBay are the same company why would you give them conflicting information? OK its true they often have communication problems between themselves and that's putting it lightly but with stealth you want to create a brand whole new identity and make it as real as possible if that makes sense. Basically the identity you create you want it to be as believable and as air tight as possible.

New laptop is good although overkill and more an expensive route it does cover the whole clean pc in its entirety and good option for those who can afford it who aren't tech savy. It would be great for creating multiple stealth accounts including AZ too if you want to go down this route as long as a brand new ip is used. I suggest a dongle and that you also log these each time.

Depends on what you where selling. I had a friend with a legitimate account get suspended here in the US two weeks ago. He called eBay every day for two weeks asking to talk to the person at trust and safety that made the decision to NARU his account. He finally got forwarded on the phone to the "Seller Venting" department. I have no idea if this is the real name but I trust this person and this what they told me. Apparently he chewed them out. I guess he had sent them business license, invoices, etc. Finally chewed out the person about everything he was listing asking who the **** took everything down. I want to talk to them.

The person on the phone in the "Seller Venting" department said they went to training with this person who suspended them. Told my friend about his high DSRs etc and reinstated his account.

So I hate to say it but it is unlikely but possible to get an account back after being limited. If you are persistent enough.

Not the biggest fan of using friend`s info of any kind but so long as the address is new to eB...would work.

Variation of name is good
